MESSAGE #9 - May 5, 2004
The mass, which seems to be inert, turns out to be a well organized army. Several units have specific tasks to perform, which are being executed with absolute precision.
The army of aliens also has its own hierarchy. Commanders have soldiers in their command and above all of them stands the general (the boss) - the most dangerous of them all. It wouldn't be easy to fight against him, but it will be a real satisfaction, when we are the winners. Last time, you met the "Bloody Butchery", I will now introduce the names of some others.
"Golden Queen", "Gloomy Slaughterer", "Villainous Warrior", "Mechanical Executioner", "Eternal Sovereign". There is one more boss - "Cappo di Tutti Capi" - the boss of all bosses, but you will only get to know him during the game.
A little bit of history now:
The first transports of penal biospheres set out into the unknown many years before the events presented in the game. According to the Earth's authorities it was, and it still is, the only way to liquidate monstrous overpopulation of our planet. The huge administrative-industrial system was created. It was paid out of taxpayers' pockets and its exclusive objective was to search out the prisoners and to take them away to the distant regions of the galaxy. The real prime of this undertaking started when huge Maximus-class cargo ships were built.
However, enormous profits, which some of the colonies started to generate, didn't end up in the common treasury. Dispensation of goods was held by high-ranking officials of government administration. Their fortunes were rising in the twinkling of an eye and their amount was fabulously unlimited.
People from Maximus XV cannot count on help from the outside. Their death is a calculated cost.
